At Owlerton Stadium we race on Tuesday, Friday & Saturday evenings. We also have BAGS meetings on Monday and Thursday mornings. Occasionally we may include an additional race meeting for special events. In the event of poor weather, including snow and ice please check with us to ensure our race meetings are not affected.

The turnstiles open at 6.00pm Tuesdays & Fridays and 6.30pm on Saturdays.
The restaurant doors open at 6:30pm on race evenings.

Racing starts on:

  • Tuesday  - 6.38pm 
  • Friday     - 6.39pm 
  • Saturday - 7.25pm


We also have BAGS race meetings every Monday and Thursday morning. Gates open at 10.30am.
First race at 11.11am. We also race some Sundays throughout the year.

The fantastic Napoleons Casino is just next door to the Owlerton Greyhound Dog Racing Stadium, where those of you who fancy trying their luck, can play roulette, blackjack and poker amongst other games in the exciting surroundings of a traditional casino. You don't even need to book to enjoy the fun. Just turn up on the night for general admission where we have fantastic offers and deals to suit everyone's budget. If you want a meal in the restaurant though, we strongly advise that you book your night out so it doesn't end in disappointment.

Not only will you get free admission and two free Tote bets, but you will also be entitled to a free drink and fast food meal.
